Learning Center offers a variety of services to unemployed
and or underemployed persons and others who need to increase their skills
and marketability in the workforce. Programs include GED preparation,
reading skills classes, computer instruction and more. Hours of
operation at the Wayne County Learning Center at Ft. Gay are Monday
through Friday
9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 
Learning
Center is the Excel program . The Excel program offers intensive job
readiness skills to individual referred by the Wayne County Department of
Health and Human Resources. Clients are taught a variety of job
related skills including resume preparation, job search skills, how to be
a good employee as well as helping them to set up and obtain personal,
educational and employment goals that ultimately make them
self-sufficient.
