     Wayne County Community Service Organization, Inc. owns and operates the Upper Mill Creek Apartments located on Mill Creek Road, Fort Gay, WV.  Nestled in the crook of a country road, the Upper Mill Creek Apartments offer quiet country living without the isolation of living in the country.  The complex consists of ten (10) one bedroom apartments with private entrances from the exterior as well as a heated common hallway, the Upper Mill Creek Senior Multipurpose Center where residents may enjoy lunch with some friends, and a common room in which to enjoy socializing with neighbors, family and friends.  Services offered include a laundry mat, transportation provided by Wayne X-Press, and an on site manager for any need you might have.  The Upper Mill Creek Apartments are housing design for elderly and the disabled.  If you are interested in or need information for an Upper Mill Creek Apartment please contact Wayne County Community Service Organization, Inc (304) 429-0070.

 

OUR PLACE APARTMENTS

Now Available

     Our Place Apartments is the newest addition to the growing housing programs of Wayne County Community Service Organization, Inc. Our Place Apartments has 20 one bedroom apartments in what was formerly the Westmoreland Middle School. Apartments are arranged to provide the maximum space available for each apartment.  These spacious apartments feature beautiful solid wood cabinets, dishwashers, individual climate control and large windows with wonderful views of the Westmoreland neighborhood.

     Our Place Apartments provide the citizens of Westmoreland and the residents of the apartments the access to local businesses and health care that has always been a part of the Westmoreland community. On the first floor is the historic Westmoreland Room where the history of Westmoreland and the quiet privacy of a library is available to all. The Tiger's Den is back with a hot dog and ice cream cone to enjoy. A grocery store is on site for the necessities of life. For the personal needs of residents and the community there is also a barber shop and beauty shop.  Additional shops are also in the works!
