Wayne County Community Services OrganizationPeople helping People.
Incorporated in 1983, WCCSO acts as a community focal point for the coordination of many programs and services benefiting those in need in Wayne County.
How We Help
Food Pantries use available resources to help families make ends meet. Donated food, food acquired from the Facing Hunger Food Bank and commodities from the USDA as well as the Emergency Food and Shelter Program are used to provide for low income, elderly and emergency cases each month.
The West Virginia Starting Points Family Resource Center Association is a coalition working together in a unified effort to advance West Virginia's family resource centers. Our goal is to see West Virginia children and families safe, healthy and self-sufficient. This program is being presented with financial assistance as a grant from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
Veterans' Community Care
Through the Veterans Community Care Program, WCCSO staff will provide quality personal and environmental in-home care to those eligible Veterans who have dedicated their lives to serving our country.
